Welcome, I am Emmanuel Previ. Since I was a little boy, at age 3, I started to draw with my grandfather, who tried to teach me some techniques although I was still very young. Then by time I continued in this course at school and was involved in competitions both with Maltese children and adults as well with International children in Japan which resulted in winning a Copper Award at age 12. From that age onwards I continued to study at the Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce with Teacher and Sculpturer Angelo Agius. In 1987 I was awarded First Prize in art and in 1988 obtained a Merit. Afterwards I refined my art by personal experience.
Many of my works are not only in my native land but are represented in Japan, Russia, America, Brasil, India, Canada, Australia, and most of the European Countries. In these last years I've been appreciated not only by Maltese and Gozitans but even by foreigners who love art. A genre of painting in which I'm being made known is that of depicting Maltese and Gozitan scenes. One can also see how I express well myself in surrealism as I show my best while using bright and high-spirited colours and various techniques. Most of my works are oil paintings but I also like using pencil and charcoal.
